Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. Kwik Trip Inc. The IT Desktop Support Intern will be responsible for imaging, configuring, and deploying replacement computers across the organization. This role will provide hands-on experience with IT asset management, operating system imaging, software installation, and hardware setup in a corporate environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically inclined, and eager to gain experience in IT support and deployment processes.
Qualifications: The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a degree program related to Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. They should have a basic understanding of Windows operating systems, imaging processes, and IT support fundamentals. Experience with imaging tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune/SCCM) or equivalent is a plus. Familiarity with hardware components and troubleshooting techniques is beneficial. Candidates must have strong attention to detail, the ability to follow structured technical procedures, and effective communication skills to interact with end users. Additionally, they should be capable of lifting and moving computer equipment as needed (up to 40 lbs.) and be self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and contribute to IT team initiatives.
Work Schedule: This is a paid internship starting in Spring 2025. Interested candidates must be willing to work 20 hours per week. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, daytime hours and must be scheduled in at least 4 hour segments. It is important to note that we offer flexibility with school scheduling.
