Pay Range: $17.49 to $24.48
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. In addition to base pay, Kwik Trip gives 40% of pre-tax profits back to our coworkers with bonuses ranging from 8-12% of each coworker’s gross annual wage depending on company profitability and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, 401k, paid time off, and more.
Kwik Trip Inc. This individual’s primary responsibility will be to provide assistance to configure all Windows machines. In addition, this person will assist Desktop Support Analysts with the set-up of new user hardware (computers and associated peripherals) and provide desktop support for all Kwik Trip Support Center users in a timely manner. The Desktop Support Intern will also document inventory assets such as new hardware installs and replacements using Kwik Trip’s ServiceNow Asset Tracking system.
Qualifications: Candidates should currently be enrolled in an IT related program. This individual should have experience with hardware setup and repair, and software installation and support. Candidates should have knowledge of the following: PC operating systems; general networking knowledge to troubleshoot network equipment and remote access via VPN connections; Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook); hardware configuration, installation, and maintenance; creation of technical documentation and knowledge base documents. Possess excellent customer service skills in order to provide assistance to Support Center users.
Physical qualifications: ability to lift 40 lbs. and stoop/kneel/crouch as needed for carrying and setting up equipment.
Work Schedule: This is a paid internship starting in Spring 2025. Interested candidates must be willing to work 20 hours per week. Work hours will be Monday through Friday, daytime hours and must be scheduled in at least 4 hour segments. It is important to note that we offer flexibility with school scheduling.
