Landscape Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Landscape Supervisor to lead our landscaping team in creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a passion for landscape design and maintenance. This role involves overseeing various landscaping projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and fostering a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily landscaping activities, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards.
• Lead the team in landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, trimming, planting, and irrigation.
• Oversee tree care operations, ensuring proper techniques are employed for health and aesthetics.
• Build and maintain gardens, including flower beds, shrubs, and decorative elements.
• Train team members on best practices in groundskeeping and landscape maintenance techniques.
• Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Manage inventory of landscaping materials and equipment, ensuring all tools are maintained in good working condition.

Experience

• Proven experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping roles with a focus on leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, tree care practices, and various landscaping techniques.
• Ability to build effective teams through motivation, training, and supervision.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
• A background in horticulture or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
