The Business Partner Finance is responsible for regional coverage and serves as the key interaction point for the business. This role involves providing high-quality consulting, insights, and knowledge-based services to improve decision-making. The Business Partner Finance supports the Lead of Business Partners by connecting, challenging, and monitoring the business and GF-Leads, ensuring that chosen business strategies deliver the highest financial value at an acceptable level of risk. They ensure quality and efficiency of processes and services while maintaining compliance, focusing on adding benefits and benchmarking a future-oriented finance function. Additionally, the Business Partner Finance is appointed as the Managing Director for the legal entities in the countries they are responsible for, sharing Directorship responsibilities with the Country Manager.

Job Duties:

• First point of contact and interface between function and Business for knowledge-based activities
• Proactively consults and works with the business to solve complex issues and to develop adequate solutions. Acts as advisor and integrator
• Supports business in the decision making process with adequate information, reports and analytics
• Manages and supports improvement projects
• Ensures the definition and implementation of the functional KWS-wide strategy and regional strategic priorities
• Supports the implementation and monitoring of functional KWS-wide policies, standards, rules and guidelines
• Ensures communication throughout all business and functional areas
• Ensures local and legal deadlines are met in full on time
• Ensures financial business analytics and data management
• Ensures interfaces between GTC, EH & BU’s concerning local day-to-day account
• Ensures cash-flow planning management, hedging, financial engineering, credit management and dividend payment
• Ensures interpretation and comments of budget figures for local entities
• Stands for finance Global Strategy in the region
• Accountable and responsible to ensure accuracy and timeliness of the financial results as well as annual tax returns
• Support the execution of audits (internal and external), as well as any tax related matters
• Travel requirement up to approx. 10% (Germany and domestic)

Requirements:

• Profound knowledge in Accounting, Financing, Credit Management and Taxes
• Over 5 years of experience in the field of Finance/Controlling in a globally acting industry/environment (agribusiness preferable)
• Excellent level of communication and entrepreneurial thinking
• Excellent Analytical thinking, customer orientation and problem solver mentality
• Ability & willingness to engage in both strategic tactical advantaged finance role towards business
• Ability to analyze finance data to develop goals, drive key business needs and objectives
• Experience in the field of producing industry (preffered)
• Project Management experience (PMP preferred)
• Proven experience in change management
• Experience with SAP/S4HANA
