Job Title- ServiceNow Developer
Job Location- Laurel, MD 20707
Mode of Hire-Contract
Mode of work-Hybrid 3 days
The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new ServiceNow
applications and modules and configuring and customizing existing ones. This includes building custom workflows,
forms, and user interfaces and integrating ServiceNow with other systems using APIs. The Developer will also
automate workflows to streamline processes, conduct thorough testing to ensure quality and provide ongoing technical
support to end-users. Furthermore, the role involves creating and maintaining technical documentation and
collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
ITIL: Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices.
Service Now Modules: Experience with ServiceNow modules such as
ITSM, ITOM, ITBM, and CSM.
1. Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
for ServiceNow solutions.
2. Design and develop custom applications and modules on the ServiceNow
platform.
3. Configure and customize existing ServiceNow applications, including Service
Catalog, Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem
Management.
4. Develop and maintain workflows, forms, and user interfaces to improve user
experience and efficiency.
5. Integrate ServiceNow with other business systems using APIs and web
services.
6. Create and maintain scripts to automate tasks and processes within
ServiceNow.
7. Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into
ServiceNow data.
8. Troubleshoot and resolve ServiceNow issues and incidents reported by users.
9. Provide technical support and guidance to ServiceNow users.
10. Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and other IT team members to
gather requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
11. Stay up-to-date on the latest ServiceNow features, releases, and best practices.
12. Participate in ServiceNow training and certification programs to enhance skills
and knowledge.
13. Adhere to ServiceNow development best practices and coding standards.
14. Conduct code reviews to ensure the quality and maintainability of ServiceNow
applications.
15. Contribute to developing and maintaining ServiceNow documentation,
including design specifications, user guides, and training materials.
16. Participate in ServiceNow testing and quality assurance activities.
17. Assist in the deployment and migration of ServiceNow applications.
18. Monitor the performance and health of ServiceNow instances.
19. Implement security measures to protect ServiceNow data and applications.
20. Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes and
workflows.
21. Research and evaluate new ServiceNow technologies and tools.
22. Provide recommendations for optimizing ServiceNow performance and
scalability.
23. Participate in ServiceNow community forums and events.
24. Share knowledge and expertise with other ServiceNow developers.
25. Mentor junior ServiceNow developers and guide best practices.
26. Contribute to the creation of ServiceNow knowledge base articles and FAQs.
27. Assist in the development of ServiceNow training programs for end-users.

management.
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related
scientific or technical field and three (5) years minimum of relevant
experience
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $66.48 - $70.00 per hour
