As a key member of our marketing team, the Marketing Design Specialist will help drive the creative direction of our marketing initiatives, which include digital and print assets, as well as event and trade show planning. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Coordinator II and the Marketing and RFP Specialist to create engaging content and support our marketing strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for designing motion graphics for social media, trade show booths designs, event signage and marketing collateral. You will also have the opportunity to work with high-quality equipment and software, including a Canon mirrorless camera, Adobe Creative Cloud full suite and a drone. This role requires occasional travel to off-site events, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds for event setups.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create motion graphics for social media and other digital/print marketing materials.
- Design trade show booths, event signage and marketing collateral for events and public relations purposes.
- Take a key role in planning, organizing and executing trade shows, off-site events and hospitality events.
- Capture high-quality content using Canon mirrorless cameras, iphone and drones for marketing materials and events.
- Manage and design quarterly social media content calendars with an emphasis on motion graphics.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator II and Marketing and RFP Specialist to ensure cohesive planning and execution of marketing initiatives.
- Oversee administrative tasks, including organizing meetings, writing design briefs and managing project timelines.
- Use Monday.com for project management and HubSpot CRM for email campaigns and social media automation.
- Contribute to or write press releases, media kits and other marketing communications.
- Design lead magnets for download and ensure proper print specifications (bleed, cutlines).
- Maintain digital file management, adhering to naming conventions and export settings for both digital and print materials.
- Travel to off-site events and locations as needed.
- Lift up to 30 pounds during event setups and breakdowns, including carrying materials or equipment.
Requirements:
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, After Effects).
- Strong portfolio showcasing motion graphics, digital/print marketing campaigns, and event materials.
- Experience designing trade show booths, event signage and marketing collateral.
- Proven experience planning and executing trade shows and events, from design to logistics.
- Proficiency in using Canon mirrorless cameras, iphone cameras and drones for content creation.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, Monday.com and social media management tools.
- Excellent copywriting, business writing and press release writing skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills for handling both design and administrative tasks.
- Ability to travel as needed for events and off-site locations.
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for event setups and breakdowns.
- Familiarity with print production, including vendor specifications for external print production.
