Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist with the implementation of strategic plans and establish goals to improve overall EHSS programs and performance.
- Support implementation and maintenance of key safety and environmental management systems like ISO 45001 SMS, ISO 14001 EMS, and ISO 50001 EM.
- Coordinate and conduct internal EHSS audits across our global organization including tracking of all information and corrective actions.
- Manage the collection of global and plant level environmental information and initiatives, including chemical use, energy usage, GHGs, waste, water, recycling and report performance.
- Develop, deploy and maintain EHS policies, procedures, guidelines and training programs to support related goals and objectives, maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements and reduce the risk within the organization.
- Maintain a working knowledge of global EHSS regulations, ISO standards and chemical and environmental controls.
- Manage key EHSS projects, programs, and initiatives, including chemical use and sustainability.
- Prepare and conduct EHS training programs and maintain proper records.
- Drive improvements to eliminate hazards in our facilities to create a zero-incident and risk-free workplace.
- Lead continuous improvement opportunities either in work practices or work conditions.
- Perform other related duties as required.
- BS Degree is required, preferably with 5 years of responsibility for multiple sites.
- Experience with EHSS auditing programs in a global manufacturing setting.
- Knowledgeable in TSCA, REACH, ROHS and other chemical use reporting standards.
- Be self-directed and detail-oriented, manage confidential information and be able to work independently.
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
- Good understanding and experience with O365 desktop applications.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25-50%.
