Position Summary
Primary responsibility is to label and package outbound orders of finished goods materials in the Greenville Distribution Center.
Duties and Responsibilities- Adhere to customer specific requirements for labeling and packaging customer orders
- Generate and apply customer labels to each reel, box, etc. as required for each order
- Perform scan verification of product to assure that all material is accounted for and correct for each order
- Package material to assure that orders arrive to the customer without damage to the product.
- Education: High School diploma, or equivalent required
- Experience: Minimum 1 year of shipping or logistics experience.
- Computer skills: Able to perform simple data entry and use Microsoft Office
- Math skills: Able to do basic counting without a calculator
- Verbal/communication: Communication skills, both verbal and written, at a level that ensures goals, objectives, and expectations regarding quality and service are met.
- Technical skills: Must be able to lift heavy boxes up to 75 pounds.
- Must be able to stand all day while working.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills to meet department and customer expectations in a fast-paced environment with recurrent changing priorities.
