What You’ll Do
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be ensuring customer satisfaction by providing exceptional support, processing orders, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs. You’ll apply your knowledge of company products, sales policies, and production capabilities to effectively communicate with customers and resolve inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Problem-Solving: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and resolving complaints efficiently within the CRM system.
- Order & Inventory Management: Process customer purchase orders, including standard, altered, configured, and special products using PeopleSoft, while coordinating with manufacturing and planning teams to ensure accurate delivery schedules.
- Pricing & Sales Support: Communicate accurate pricing and availability, generate formal quotes, and assist in sales processes to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Returns & Account Resolution: Handle Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) requests and work with Accounts Receivable to resolve account discrepancies.
- CRM & Data Management: Maintain and update customer accounts, contacts, and order history within the ERP system to support efficient operations.
- Process & Service Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance workflows, optimize customer service processes, and collaborate with sales and internal teams to drive efficiency.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor open-order reports, process Point of Sales, analyze customer trends, and provide insights into improving service levels and sales support.
- In-Office Work: Perform all duties within the office environment at 120 Marc Drive, Cuyahoga Fall, Ohio 44223, collaborating directly with colleagues and leadership to ensure seamless communication and operational effectiveness.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or GED required.
- An associate degree in Business Administration is preferred or a minimum of two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with ERP systems (PeopleSoft preferred).
- Strong proficiency in Windows-based systems and applicable software applications.
- Foreign language proficiency (e.g., French, Spanish) is a plus for certain territories but not required.
