Kyocera Unimerco Tooling, Inc. manufactures, distributes, and services tools for machining, primarily for the metal, automotive, aerospace, and fluid power industries. We are a leading manufacturer of both solid carbide and PCD tipped cutting tools. Due to high order demand, we currently have open positions for Tool Technicians at our Saline, MI production facility.

Responsibilities include:
- Operate and troubleshoot CNC equipment to produce precision tools (with micron tolerances) using technical skills and extreme attention to quality
- Program and set up CNC machines
- Ability to work in self-governing groups which control order development, quality, and flow
- Inspect personal work and the work of co-workers
- Maintain workplace organization for good housekeeping and cleanliness, to promote safety, and to improve work practices for fast setup
- Flexibility towards shift work, as it is a three-shift operation.
- Work both independently and in a team
- Follows all safety guidelines and company policies
Desired profile:
- CNC grinding machines knowledge
- Experience with cutter grinder, tool and die, or similar
