Job Summary
Under general supervision, perform moderately complex and detailed assembly operations and processes. This includes assembling, fabricating, and operating tasks of a moderately intricate nature where configurations, setups, and tolerances are not easily determined. The role requires maintaining proper housekeeping (6S) and adherence to safety regulations. Responsibilities include positioning, aligning, and securing parts prior to assembly using tools like straightedges, calipers, and rulers.
Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Tasks may include, but are not limited to the following:
· Perform a variety of assembly, fabrication, production, and operator tasks of a moderately complex nature where configurations, setups, and tolerances are not easily determined.
· Must maintain complete scrap records and produces minimal scrap.
· Maintains proper housekeeping (6S).
· Knows and observes safety regulations and precautions.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
· Layout, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies prior to assembly, using straightedges, combination squares, calipers, and rulers.
Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills
Required:
· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
· Requires at least 1 year of related experience.
Associated Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
· Must be able to read, write, accurately read a tape measure, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
· Able to work independently to maintain production, efficiency, quality and discipline.
· Must use appropriate skills, required equipment, and tools, and accurately read and interpret blueprints.

Working Environment & Conditions/Physical Requirements
· Able to move up to 25lbs, two-person life up to 60lbs.
· Wear required PPE, including steel toed safety shoes, at all times, follow 6S procedures, participate in preventative injury exercises, and comply with all job-related work instructions.
· Job requires the ability to stand and walk on concrete surface for entire shift.
· Must be fully mobile: able to reach, bend and twist, grasp, pull, push, squat, bend at the knees and waist, crawl, lift.

· Electric drill, rubber mallet, tape measure, flat head screwdriver, pliers, claw hammer, hacksaw, Phillips head screwdriver, wire cutter/strippers, pliers, wood chisel.
