Responsibilities:
- Conduct general maintenance and site upkeep.
- Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Perform installations, assembling, repairs, and replacements.
- Handle emergency maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of work areas.
- Operate maintenance equipment safely.
- Keep records of all maintenance and preservation activities.
- Manage maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ensure safety with traffic signals and barriers.
- Receive and reconcile incoming materials with purchase orders.
- Handle freight, equipment movement, and minor repairs.
- Maintain proper storage of hazardous substances and delicate materials.
- Secure site materials.
- Other Activities:
- Address nagging/punch items and supervise smaller contractors.
- Assist in thorough cleaning for valve installation.
- Perform any additional tasks relating to maintenance, material handling, or site acceptance.
- Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid driver’s license
- Prefer to have Forklift certification. If not, Hitachi will assume the cost for the certification.
- Skills:
- Good communication skills in English.
- Proactive in identifying and solving problems.
- Organized, diligent, and reliable.
- Customer-oriented with good health and safety awareness.
- Willingness to undergo job training and adhere to safety regulations.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
