Main Responsibilities
- Model Life Management: Ensure that all steering system models are accurately represented and up-to-date.
- Technical Documentation: Maintain and update technical documentation, drawings, and parts lists according to vehicle change points or external group requests.
- Regulation and Certification: Verify compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Communication: Facilitate communication between design, supplier, and project management teams as necessary.
- Root Cause Investigations: Investigate and resolve steering component-related warranty claims.
- Cost Reduction Proposals: Collaborate with suppliers to identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement proposals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience as a mechanical engineer.
- Proficiency in CATIA and other CAD software.
