Blast Booth Operator
The primary responsibilities of this position include product handling, prepping/masking product for blast, and safe operation of air powered media blasting equipment. Operator will work in an enclosed booth, wearing protective suit, helmet, and respirator.
Job Description
A Blast Booth Operator is responsible for completing the following duties:
- Prepare metal for painting through sandblasting
- Prep/Mask parts as necessary using tape, plugs, etc.
- Perform daily non-technical maintenance routines on blast equipment
- Clean blast booth, filters, and surrounding area
- Operate forklifts and overhead cranes according to safe operating procedures (with training and licensing provided)
- Other duties as assigned
Job Type: Contract
Pay: Up to $19.00 per hour
