Process Engineer - Plastics
Duration: 12 Months (Open Ended Contract)
Location: Onsite - Georgetown, KY 40324
Note: Must be local or willing to relocate at your own expense.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing specifications for plastic injection processes, focusing on quality improvement, cost reduction, and lead time optimization for the North American region.
- Manage new model plastics parts, both individually and through indirect management of engineers, SEIBI, and NAMC teams.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership to SEIBI Technicians.
- Lead process development projects.
- Monitor equipment post-SOP/installation to ensure the sustainability of production KPIs.
- Collaborate with various teams across sections and departments to ensure the product’s sustainability throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate Skills & Experience:
- Experience in Plastics Process Manufacturing, Die, Project Management, Presses, CATIA/3D modeling software, and Microsoft Suite.
- Proven experience leading process development projects and guiding technician teams.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Strong background in plastics process manufacturing, including shop floor experience.
- Experience with large tonnage, low-pressure injection molds and processing.
- Experience with CATIA modules: Generative Shape Design (GSD) and Part Design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

- Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays
