Job Title: Maintenance Utility Person
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Utility Person is responsible for facilities management, maintenance, and operational support, including equipment, grounds, and structures. This role involves following instructions to perform tasks that assist operations and maintenance coordinators. Training will be provided for all job-related duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle materials, including stacking parts, hanging coils, operating pick-and-place equipment, and filling oil.
- Perform general cleaning, including dusting equipment and scrubbing floors.
- Mark and paint lines as needed to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to safety protocols, including wearing required PPE such as safety sleeves, cut-resistant gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
- Operate various tools and equipment, including electric chain hoists, pneumatic shears, hydraulic lift tables, and pallet jacks.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Dexterity and coordination to use hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, including reading and understanding work orders.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
