Pastry Assistants

Responsibilities:
- Shaping, proofing, and baking croissants
- Cake slicing to standardized portions
- Ensure that all baked products meet our high standards of quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to food safety guidelines and regulations.
- Operate kitchen equipment, including ovens, mixers, and refrigerators.
- Internal ordering and kitchen related inventory
- Comfortable working with a strong degree of autonomy
- An appreciation for aesthetics, symmetry and standardization
- Extreme attention to detail & ability to follow recipes and procedures exact.
Requirements:
- Some experience as a Baker in a commercial kitchen setting.
- Strong knowledge of food production, food preparation, and food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food safety guidelines.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting tight deadlines and adapting to changing priorities.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Proficiency with general baking techniques.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, standing for extended periods of time
