HR Business Partner
POSITION SUMMARY:
Laderach North America is seeking an HR Business Partner who will provide human resources consultation and support for all assigned areas of support across US, Canada and Puerto Rico. The HRBP will manage all HR objectives & business strategy along with supporting the company’s HR policies and procedures complying with state and federal regulations. This role will report directly to the Director of Human Resources and Development and is a full-time in-office position based in the Dallas, Texas Corporate Office.
The ideal candidate would have great diligence and collaboration with experience working with senior leadership.
What you can expect
- You will use working knowledge of the business to provide HR workforce planning support and guidance to field managers.
- You will analyze trends and develop workforce plans to resolve issues and make a positive impact on business results. Utilizes knowledge of various human resources functions to provide tactical support to field managers.
- You will conduct I-9 audits, verifications, variances and verification of training and completion of all new hire documents.
- You will guide the Management team and new hires through the onboarding process and ensures tasks are completed.
- You will conduct Audits to identify areas on non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.
- You will ensure that the company’s HR policies and procedures are up-to-date and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- You will manage all employee relations cases, investigations, and compliant issues and properly document and execute.
- You will oversee, educate, and understand all California Labor law guidance and compliance for management.
- You will execute and ensure compliance with all HR laws and regulations and ensures the company is in state and federal compliance.
- You will coordinate and create profiles for all new hires in records systems (UKG, SAP)
- You will develop implement and develop metric reporting to support regional managers and drive business results.
- You will provide guidance to managers and associates for HR-related concerns, including lower risk associate relations, benefits support, and performance management.
- You will ensure compliance with company policy and federal/state employment laws, to eliminate risk and potential company liability.
- You will actively participate and collaborate with Talent Acquisition. Improves our ability to attract, select and retain diverse talent, while building a pipeline for future needs.
- You will train and coach others to advance role clarity, business acumen, leadership skills and overall competencies of employees and leaders.
- You will facilitate the onboarding process in partnership with hiring managers & HR generalist.
- You will drive the engagement strategy within their respected area of responsibility.
- You will assist in building and maintaining a highly engaged team and a dynamic, positive environment.
- You will deliver and execute a simplified operating model that improves the employee and the customer’s experience.
- You will travel as needed, including visiting stores as needed in the California area.
What we expect from you
- You have 8 years of Human Resources Business Partner experience.
- You have experience in Retail or Hospitality within a multi-unit and/or multi-state setting.
- You preferably have a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- You have HR certification, PHR, or SHRM (preferred but not required).
- You have knowledge of state and federal HR laws and regulations
- You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You have a commitment to excellence and high standards.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- You have strong organizational, problem solving and analytical skills
- You have the ability to effectively deal with diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- You have impeccable written and verbal skills.
- You can handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.

- Competitive Pay ($82,000-$88,000 annually)
