General Description:
The Off-Premise Sales Manager will lead the execution of sales initiatives and internal/retailer programming, focusing on the training and development of the Off-Premise Team. This role will involve maintaining strong supplier relationships, guiding regional sales managers, and ensuring all objectives are aligned with L&F’s strategic goals. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for developing teams that drive sales growth in a highly competitive market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the Off-Premise sales team to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
- Set challenging but attainable sales goals for the team to increase sales and drive customer engagement.
- Oversee the sale of all products in compliance with company policies and Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission (T.A.B.C.) regulations.
- Ensure regional teams and their teams adhere to TABC regulations, state laws, and L&F Distributors quality standards.
- Hold the regional leaders accountable for compliance with operational procedures and out of code (OOC) related to product freshness and expiration.
- Regularly audit the regionals’ team's performance to ensure all products are within code and meet legal and company standards.
- Manage and develop regional sales managers, ensuring their team members meet performance expectations.
- Utilize office productivity tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) to track sales, market data, and industry trends for effective decision-making.
- Submit required sales and incentive reports in a timely manner; ensure all team members comply with reporting deadlines.
- Coach and provide constructive feedback to sales and delivery staff to improve performance, positioning them as industry experts.
- Maintain an expert understanding of products, market conditions, and competitors to drive sales strategies.
- Foster positive relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to enhance the company's reputation and market presence.
- Communicate effectively to improve team performance and increase sales, ensuring alignment with company goals.
- Produce accurate reports and ensure timely submission to higher management.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
- 7 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a sales leadership role.
- Proven track record of sales success and customer satisfaction in a competitive market.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to set clear expectations and help team members achieve success.
- In-depth knowledge of the beverage industry and L&F's brands and product offerings.
- Excellent communication, coaching, and people management skills.
- Ability to identify business opportunities and implement strategies to capitalize on them.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for data analysis and reporting.
- Valid Texas state driver’s license and a clean driving record.

- Comprehensive understanding of sales principles, negotiations, and market analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make decisions that align with both short-term and long-term company objectives.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or in meetings.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds for product demonstrations or events.
- Travel may involve extended periods of driving or flying, as well as navigation in various retail environments.
Unavoidable Hazards (Work Environment)
Involves frequent/infrequent, occasional, and routine exposure to:
- Frequent exposure to retail and food service environments, which may include noise, temperature fluctuations, and crowded spaces.
- Potential exposure to promotional materials and product samples, requiring adherence to safety guidelines.
- Travel involves risks associated with driving and flying, including adverse weather conditions.
- Occasional exposure to warehouse settings, where moving equipment and inventory may pose safety risks.
Special Certifications and Licenses:
- Must possess and maintain a valid state Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- Must have a reliable personal vehicle for business-related travel. Mileage will be reimbursed through a third-party administrator (TPA).
- Must pass criminal background and drug screen checks.
- Preferred: Certified Beverage Professional (CBP), Certified Sales Professional (CSP), and food/beverage safety certification (e.g., ServSafe).
Reports to: Directly to General Manager.
