Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Digital Merchandising Analyst to join our dynamic Digital Merchandising team. As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for disseminating ecommerce product performance insights across the organization to inform and influence strategic decisions. You will gather and synthesize data-driven insights from multiple sources to analyze product performance in priority categories, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to enhance digital merchandising and product assortment strategies.
Responsibilities
* Own Ecommerce Product Performance Reporting and Insight Generation: Define ecommerce product selling KPIs and reporting standards in partnership with the Ecommerce Analytics team.* Stand up tools to enable in-season performance analysis and self-service for key partners.* Conduct post-season performance analysis, comparing performance to last year, previous periods, and other channels.* Understand digital marketing strategies to provide comprehensive insights.* Provide ecommerce product selling insights and recommendations into corporate planning processes, including product development, line assortment, and the commercial plan.* Support Mind-to-Marketing product creation process by providing insights to optimize assortment strategies.* Support commercial plan creation process by providing insights to define seasonal priority products.* Create seasonal performance recaps and special project postmortems to inform future season strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration and Ad Hoc Analysis
* Provide insights to Digital Merchandising Analysts and Digital Product Managers to inform ecommerce strategies and optimizations.* Conduct ad hoc analysis as needed to drive forward strategies from other groups.* Analyze variance between selling channel performance to optimize strategies.* Perform return rate analysis to identify areas for improvement.* Collaborate closely with Merchandising, Inventory, Site Analytics, Customer Analytics, Customer Insights, Retail, Wholesale, and Marketing Analysts to ensure cohesive strategies.
