The Assistant Manager will work closely with the Social Media Manager to grow brand awareness, engagement, and ultimately drive sales through compelling social media content and campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Content Creation & Curation: Assist in the development and execution of engaging social media content across all relevant platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.), including photos, videos, stories, and live streams, aligned with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. This includes sourcing user-generated content and working with influencers.
- Community Management: Actively engage with the NYX Professional Makeup online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, fostering a positive brand experience, and building relationships with key influencers and followers.
- Talent Management: build and maintain relationships with talent, identifying opportunities for social campaigns and/or campaign photoshoots while ensuring alignment with brand goals, pillars, and messaging.
- Social Media Strategy: Contribute to the development and implementation of social media strategies, including identifying emerging trends, platform best practices, and innovative content formats. Stay up-to-date on competitive landscape and recommend new opportunities for growth.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze key social media metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, follower growth, etc.) to assess campaign performance and provide data-driven insights to optimize future content and strategy. Prepare regular reports on social media performance.
- Campaign Management: Support the execution of social media campaigns, including content scheduling, influencer collaborations, paid social media advertising, and community engagement activities.
- Budget Management: Assist in managing the social media budget and tracking expenses related to content creation, influencer partnerships, and paid advertising.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other teams within the marketing department (e.g., PR, Creative, E-commerce) to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrated marketing efforts.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Social Media Manager, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing social media accounts and tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry.
- Deep understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
- Proven track record of creating engaging and effective social media content.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in social media management tools (e.g., Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Later).
- Knowledge of paid social media advertising is a plus.
- Passion for the beauty industry and the NYX Professional Makeup brand.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
