What You Will Do:
Commercial Finance HQ and business lead for total LDB. This role will lead the brand commercial and HQ commercial function, overseeing $2B in sales and is a key member of both the Sales and Finance organization. The AVP helps to set the division’s brand and customer frame and is responsible for both gross to net sales management of all brands of business involving budgets, trends, and actuals reporting as well as the holistic impact of customer performance to the broader divisional results. This role reports into the VP of Commercial Finance.

What You Will Do:
Commercial Finance HQ and business lead for total LDB. Position Accountabilities:
- Partner with sales operations on weekly field sales estimate, inclusive of gross to net risk and opportunity for communication back to management committee, corporate and global
- Ongoing understanding of LDB field forecast including drivers of changes, sell in and sell out gaps with inventory analysis, to inform risk and opportunities to financial commitments
- Partner with demand planning and operations on latest estimates with understanding on gaps vs. field perspective and financial commitment to help drive future trends.
- Play financial role in annual target setting process with emphasis on brand and customer sell in/sell out, stock in trade and allocation of funds.
- Liaise with local and global corporate partners on sales performance including month end results, Budgets and R&O communication
- Review opportunities for net price valorization in partnership with brand commercial controllers, RGM and the brands
- Liaise with brand and account controllers for ongoing aggregation of gross to net risks and opportunities with ROI assessments for informed decision making
- Assist in the compilation of divisional and global trend and adhoc presentations
- Present to management committee latest sales estimates and summarize variances to official targets.
- Implementation of best practices to drive simplicity and increased visibility of financials to the broader LDB organization.
- Liaise with cross functional teams (sales, demand planning, accounting, divisional finance).
- Lead ad-hoc financial strategic commercial projects
- Oversight of internal control policies and implementation
- 10 years of experience in finance preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required. MBA/CPA preferred.
- Consumer products industry experience preferred.
- Strong computer skills required; must have expert-level experience with Excel and Word.
- Financial reporting experience and use of SAP, Hyperion, Oracle or similar GL systems highly desirable.
- Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills, business acumen, leadership skills, oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
- Must have the ability to interact with all levels of management.
