What You Will Do:
The analyst position is a critical role to maintain operational excellence within the warehouse. This position ensures that all products are slotted appropriately within the picking department to drive efficiency. On a broader scope, this role helps determine the overall storage strategy of all products throughout the warehouse. This person will function as a team member within the operations department and across all functions of the site, enhancing communication and decision making. This position requires the ability to interface between all warehouse functions professionally and effectively and with outside stakeholders as necessary. As a designated systems expert for the site, this person assists in all functions in troubleshooting system related issues.

- Ensures that all products (SKUs) are assigned to the appropriate pick bins to provide the most efficiency to overall operations. Initiates and manages the slotting of new products (SKUs). Routinely monitors slotting inefficiencies by engaging floor operations, auditing, and utilizing data analysis. Considers ergonomics and quality to safeguard against personal injury and / or product damage.
- Monitors the inventory staged within all pick areas and adjusts as appropriate, especially identifying products (SKUs) that should be removed from automated systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Responsible for product (SKU) inventory management by strategically identifying correct storage methods and locations to optimize the flow of material through the site. Utilize data analysis and software as appropriate to assist all inventory storage decision making.
- Partners with Global Brands Management to monitor the status of all materials on excess and obsolete, while re-slotting and removing products (SKUs) accordingly; proactively partners with external groups on launches, smushes, inventory build expectations, potential HAZMAT issues, and any other DOT regulations that may impact shipping.
- Routinely provide overall site inventory and pick data analysis to the leadership team to help in operational decision making.
Required Qualifications:
- Education: High school graduate or GED equivalent
- Experience: 1-3 years’ experience in a warehouse / manufacturing environment
- Experience with WMS, with an emphasis on inventory control and slotting, Manhattan experience is a plus
- Knowledge/Skills: Efficient with Microsoft Office
- Must demonstrate 100% responsibility.
