The Revenue Growth Management (RGM) team at L’Oréal USA is an analytics group within the company’s Luxe Division that provides consumer-centric insights to help inform the Division’s pricing, pack size assortment and promotional strategy. RGM acts as a across strategic consultant to brands like Lancôme, IT Cosmetics, Yves Saint Laurent, Kiehl's, Urban Decay, and Giorgio Armani to help understand market and consumer dynamics and drive profitable growth. Common work includes consulting with upper management on strategic business decisions, performing pricing elasticity modeling, measuring the ROI of mark-down promotions, and creating dashboards and tools to help drive business decisions.
Responsibilities
Salary Range: $138,500 – $200,800 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)

Responsibilities
- Design and implement analytics to evaluate the Return on Investment (ROI) and retail sales impact of markdowns and price promotions, while influencing brands to adopt optimized promotional strategies
- Develop a strategic framework for allocating promotional investments that align with brand objectives and drive business growth
- Generate actionable insights on promotional best practices—such as optimal depth, frequency, and duration of price discounts—by analyzing market trends and assessing their impact on market share
- Lead analytics initiatives to measure customer Lifetime Value (LTV), basket size, and trial rates for new products or categories, leveraging data from direct-to-consumer (DTC) brand websites
- Collaborate with the Commercial Finance team to evaluate commercial terms, identify opportunities for improvement, and enhance transparency in Gross-to-Net Revenue reporting
- Ensure the consistent implementation of RGM guidelines at the brand level to drive sustainable growth
- Ability to juggle competing tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Analytically minded with a focus on solving complex business problems through data analysis
- Understands how data is generated and ability to consider and work through data limitations
- Comfort in presenting to senior leadership
- Upbeat and positive attitude towards work
- At least 7 years of experience in finance, commercial strategy, market research, insights, and/or marketing, preferably in the consumer products industry
- Experience generating insights and recommendations using large datasets and building optimization models for decision making
- Experience creating new data-driven tools and methodologies and influencing cross-functional stakeholders in adopting new processes
- Educational background in Finance, Economics, Data Analytics/Mathematics, Engineering, or Marketing
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with business analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI
- Nice to have:
- Experience working on a pricing or revenue management focused team
- Experience with SQL and/or Python
