A Day in the Life
The Vice President, Store Design plays a critical role in the evolution of the retail footprint across the LUXE Division. This position will lead, create and drive the strategic vision in collaboration with several disciplines of store design. The VP – Store Design will provide insights into competitive landscapes, design trends, innovation techniques and methods for design and relevant industry trends.
This leader will be a visionary who seeks out opportunities to create and define future store experiences that are built on commitment to being a source of inspiration for the industry, digital transformation and ensuring that customers are at the heart of all we do with our diverse and inclusive store environments.
Requirements
Salary Range: $172,400– $250,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level Competitive Benefit Package (Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Pension Plan)

Requirements
- 15 years of related experience
- Recognized as an expert within the company
- Holds in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline and broad knowledge of other job disciplines within the function
- Solves unique problems that have a broad impact on the business
- Contributes to the development of functional strategy
- May lead increasingly larger or more complex project teams across a function or business line, integrating multidisciplinary team across varied business lines and disciplines
- Eye for design and aesthetic with attention to detail.
- Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to coordinate across cross-functional teams to achieve successful execution on time, within budget and in line with strategic direction. Proactive and persistent in driving projects to completion and following up on deliverables from other departments. Resourceful in seeking out information and identifying solutions to problems.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact professionally with all levels of management, brand partners and outside vendors. Able to mobilize others to achieve results.
- Effective multi-tasker who can manage projects from conception through production in a fast-paced changing environment
- Able to provide clear direction and provide constructive feedback to enhance impact and effectiveness of communication.
- Provide design inspiration and technical guidance by “getting into the field to show and do”.
- Occasional travel
- Lead, direct and develop designs of complete Store environments, as well as new fixtures and furniture.
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, including creation of plans and budget, timelines, and milestones, always ensuring online execution.
- Lead and work to align Stores with strategy of overall design.
- Collaborate seamlessly with global partners on fixtures, materials, and layout to exist in all locations and adhere to budget requirements, while being an impeccable people leader, managing and leading Store Design team members
- A sustainability partner and leader that will work ensure that options align with budget allocations and plans for sustainability initiatives and LEED certified store locations.
- Align with Visual Merchandising team partners to understand goals and objectives of existing and future merchandising projects and Brand updates.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising team on merchandising layout and marketing set up for experiences and programs.
- Manage overall Store Design budget for vendor services such as renderings, design concepts, prototypes, production and installation.
- Partner with Marketing and Digital Marketing teams to introduce on-line/off-line guest experiences.
- Work with Purchasing and Procurement on vendor assessments for future design projects, renderings and opportunities
- Work with vendors on content management capabilities and resources also analytics as applicable
- Define support needed for in store digital content creation tailored to innovative experiences
- Quantify key insights and data from digital and future innovation pilots to create strategic programs that can rollout to brand partners as connection opportunities
