    We areseeking an Operations Development Manager for CPD Haircare, based in our Clark, NewJersey Operations Hub for the US. This role will manage packagedevelopment and project management activities to assure timely and costeffective new product launches, promotions, and maintenance of basic businessactivities. They will have active participation in identifying new and improvedprocesses that will result in effective cost reduction / harmonization programsfor new or existing products. In assigned project category, they will also leadpackage innovation.

    What You Will Do :

  • Research and develop packaging components.
  • Provide direction to test and evaluate packaging components.
  • Meeting coordination, minutes & follow-ups
  • Guide Marketing in new product brief creation
  • Influencing the product conception with a focus on consumer centricity and L'Oreal group's sustainability objectives.
  • Communication Link (between the Division & Industrial teams)
  • Project Development Timeline preparation and tracking
  • Manage projects through QCP (all aspects)
  • Feasibility Costs and COG analysis
  • Risk Analysis coordination & communication
  • Aesthetic / Color Approvals with Marketing
  • Value Analysis support to plant and team
  • Research and Development coordination
  • Manage project work as necessary or required.
  • Interface with all manufacturing management and associated or related functional areas.
  • Develop and maintain a professional knowledge of new or emerging trends within the PD discipline.
  • Provide Development support to team members as needed on project launches; example : guidance on feasibility as they relate to aesthetic choices to assure timely cost effective launch.
  • Assume Leadership role of Brand Development team and special projects as needed.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or required.
  • What We Are Looking For :

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering or a related technical discipline is required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in package / product development and project management, preferably in cosmetics, consumer goods, or related field is required
  • Technical packaging experience is a plus
  • Must be collaborative and able to create strong relationships with all cross-functional teams
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills to be able to influence effectively with all levels of our organization internally and externally including our suppliers
  • Team-oriented with the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage documentation, materials, and information for each project.
  • French Language skill is a plus
  • Travel to vendors and plants will be a requirement (10-15% of time)
  • Proficient PC skills - MS Office software and capable of building presentations on Excel and / or PowerPoint. Also Proficient in the use of MS Project.
  • The ability to be onsite, in the office as this is an essential function of the position (required)
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent, ongoing basis, without the need for sponsorship now or in the future (required)
