The Contract Administrator plays a pivotal role in the management, execution and oversight of contracts within L&S Mechanical contract lifecycle. Working with and reporting to the company’s General Counsel as well as attorneys from other firms, this position is crucial for confirming that all contractual terms and conditions are executed timely in compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements and to protect the company’s interests and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Review and Redlining
- Reviewing contracts to ensure completeness and accuracy, aligning with internal corporate policies and external regulatory requirements, where applicable.
- Analyze potential risks involved in specific contract terms and stipulations and use insights to mitigate risk through strategic contract language.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Legal, Finance, HR, IT, and Procurement Departments) to assure the contract’s terms are feasible and reflect the organization’s capacity and business strategy
