We are hiring a full-time Technician in our NY locations who is passionate about healthcare and providing A customer service to our patients and clients. This hybrid position will support our COVID testing services as well as head lice removal.
Responsibilities
- Assist on COVID-19 testing site
- Screening and swabbing
- Greeting and registering patients
- Verifying patient information and insurance
- Collecting, labeling, and processing specimens
- Maintaining infection control and HIPAA standards
- Collecting required paperwork or documentation
- Greeting patients, entering location and directing them as needed
- Performing any required front desk duties and protocols
- Responsible for answering and managing phone calls as needed
- Provide head-checks, treatments and nitpicking for any affected household member
- Educate clients all about the Lice Troopers treatment process
- Arrive at your assigned destination punctually, professionally and with the appropriate supplies
- Sell Lice Troopers lice removal products, when appropriate
- Provide clients with informational literature
- Answer client questions
- Prepare invoices and collect payments
- Sterilize equipment
- Maintain store operations and foster meaningful and lasting relationships
Requirements
- 1 year of experience is preferred
- Strong customer service skills and compassion for other people
- Willingness and reliable transportation to travel between clinics and to house-calls (mileage is reimbursed)
- Calm, friendly, professional, and patient demeanor
- Adaptable and able to hit the ground running
- Reliable transportation, valid car insurance, and valid driver's license
Schedule
Monday-Friday, Saturday and Sunday
