We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting cocktails, serving beverages, and creating an inviting atmosphere for our guests. Your expertise will contribute to the overall experience of our patrons, whether in a fine dining restaurant or a lively nightclub setting.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
- Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations.
- Monitor customer consumption of alcohol to ensure responsible service and compliance with legal regulations.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, including Aloha POS and cash registers.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders when applicable.
- Stay informed about new drink trends, menu changes, and food safety practices.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and ordering as necessary.
Skills
- Proficiency in bartending techniques with knowledge of cocktail recipes and presentation styles.
- Experience with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards within the food industry.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Previous experience in fine dining or nightclub environments is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
