LA BISE is the newest concept from the highly acclaimed Knightsbridge Restaurant Group. As a modern French concept in downtown Washington, DC, we strive to give each guest the highest quality of food, wine, service, and hospitality in an inviting and sophisticated atmosphere.
We are looking for a SOMMELIER that shares our passion for hospitality and service, has a strong work ethic, is committed to excellence, and are excited to be a part of our team.
Ideal candidates will have:
- At least two year experience in the restaurant industry working with a robust wine program; prior fine-dining experience preferred
- Excellent food and wine knowledge with a strong foundation in the wines and cuisine of France
- Strong understanding of POS and inventory systems
- Desire and ability to teach and foster growth within staff
- Ability to lead and manage a staff and take a hands-on approach to all aspects of service
- Strong desire to contribute and elevate service and hospitality standards
- Keen attention to detail, especially during a fast-paced service
- Ability to communicated clearly, efficiently, and eloquently
- Positive outlook and team-oriented mentality
