Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, providing detailed descriptions of food and beverage options.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest preferences are noted.
- Utilize Resy for reservations and manage table assignments effectively.
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with fine dining standards, ensuring presentation is impeccable.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the meal, addressing any needs or concerns promptly.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately, including cash handling and processing credit card payments.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain communication regarding special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
- Adhere to all food handling and safety regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a fine dining restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling cash register transactions and calculating bills.
- Knowledge of culinary terms and food preparation methods is a plus.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and experience using cash registers.
