Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide detailed descriptions of menu items, including daily specials, to enhance guest experience.
- Ensure timely service of food and beverages while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure proper food preparation and presentation.
- Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of guests.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of guest services and sales techniques within the food industry.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and processing payments effectively.
- Familiarity with kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety standards is a plus.
- Experience using Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is advantageous.
