Job Summary
The Director of Partnership Marketing ensures contractual benefits of sponsors are delivered and driven successfully. This role also contributes to the growth of the partnership marketing department by being a great teammate providing outstanding client service.
This is a full-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is eligible for our competitive benefit offering including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan with company contribution, Well-Being Allowance, and more.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for developing personal and business relationships with all levels of partner contacts.
- Lead initiatives for all renewal accounts including developing and handling a strategic plan for all assigned renewals incorporating Clippers management where applicable.
- Lead and track all account history, relationship details and partnership activation details in CRM on a consistent basis.
- Responsible for understanding each assigned account's business goals and objectives to provide ideas and recommendations to grow their business.
- Clearly communicate both written and verbal detailed pitches for new opportunities or upsells to enhance each partnership and grow the business.
- Develop a strong understanding for all industries pertaining to each assigned account.
- Responsible to initiate new processes and programs that enhance assigned accounts, and / or the Corporate Partnership team and organization to move the business forward.
- Research, share and document promotional activities of other teams in the league and / or other applicable industries and work to continually improve existing programs and promotions.
- Provide results and measurement in recaps and through regular documented communication with the partner that specifically displays that the partnership elements meet the company's goals and objectives to justify partnership dollars.
- Provide added customer value (i.e. advertising exposure, promotions, programming, B2B connections, etc) to all corporate partners while conforming to all budgetary constrictions established in Partner Agreements and protecting the integrity and value of company assets.
- Point person and liaison to work with multiple departments such as community relations, marketing, basketball operations, game operations and digital departments to ensure proper fulfillment of corporate partner elements.
- Communicate with the NBA, applicable departments and in-house legal counsel for all necessary approval on promotional materials.
- Establish strong relationships with other departments to mutually meet the goals and objectives of partners as well as the goals and objectives of other internal teams
- Generate new ideas and activation in coordination with other internal teams that provide resources to corporate partnerships while delivering added customer value that meet the other internal teams' goals and objectives

About Intuit Dome :
Opening in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different it will redefine fans' expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.
Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.
