Some deliveries may require carrying product up multiple flights of stairs. This position requires extended periods of sitting and standing. Operation of van may average 8 to 12 hours per day.High school Diploma or EquivalentEXPERIENCE AND REQUIRED SKILLS:1 to 3 years driver experience, preferably in route deliveries Must enjoy working with the elderly Must have and maintain a satisfactory driving record Must poses a Class E license Experience with on-board computers, paperless DOT logs and/or electronic capture applications preferred English/Spanish preferred Days of work and hours are subject to change based on departmental and/or organizational needs.LANGUAGE ABILITYAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATH ABILITYAbility to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
