Job Description
Join our Adapted program as an Adapted Aquatics Instructor and become part of an organization that supports our community in becoming a more inclusive society for all! The part-time position is available at Dahl, Houser and Bigley.
Shift Details: This position is part-time 4-5 hours. All shifts are on the weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Creating Swim Lesson Curriculum
- Providing behavior modification as needed
- Enforcing safety regulations
- ing appropriate policies and procedures
Setting up and taking down equipment -
Requirements
- Good social and communication skills working with youth and adults
- YMCA Swim Instructor or American Red Cross W.S.I (preferred, not required)
- First Aid and CPR Certifications (preferred, not required)
- Swim team, swim instructor, OR lifeguard experience required
Ability to lift up to 50lbs -
