Job Description
We’re looking for passionate, energetic, and creative leaders to join our team and teach at our Preschool Age Camps! These camps are designed for children ages 4-5, and each week features a different fun and exciting theme. Kids will sign up per week, giving you the opportunity to work with new groups of children throughout the summer. Teachers will have the opportunity to design, plan, and facilitate hands-on activities with the added possibility of creating your own class ideas based on your passions!
Position Overview: As a Preschool Camp Teacher, you will lead engaging activities, develop educational materials, and create a nurturing environment that encourages learning through play. This is a great opportunity for those with a love for working with young children and a passion for early childhood education.
Shift Specifics:
Mondays-Thursdays (8:00am-12:00pm)
Camps are run June-July
Responsibilities:
Plan and prepare weekly themed activities that support early learning.
Facilitate fun and engaging activities such as arts, crafts, games, and sports.
Build relationships with children, families, and staff.
Foster a positive, inclusive environment for campers.
Requirements
- Passionate about working with kids and families
- Ability to organize/lead fun and engaging activities
- Ability to plan and prepare preschool-age activities
- Knowledge of developmentally appropriate preschool activities
At least 1 year of experience working with children infant to age 8 -
