What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Housekeeping - Houser position at La Crosse Area Family YMCA?
Do you have an eye for detail and cleanliness and enjoy being around people? If so, the Y is looking for you! This is a full-time position at R.W. Houser Family YMCA in Onalaska.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 1:30 pm – 10:00 pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform housekeeping duties as assigned to ensure the cleanliness of the facility, including areas such as the lobby, locker rooms/bathrooms, wellness center, gymnasiums, gymnastics studio, etc.
- Collect, wash, and dry towels used by members for cleaning exercise equipment.
- Provide excellent service to all members, staff, and guests
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, etc.
Requirements
- Possess a positive attitude and good communication skills
- Ability to work on your feet for multiple hours at a time
- Ability to move tables and chairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to address and make solid decisions in emergency situations
- Knowledge of operating cleaning equipment, cleaning & sanitation products
