As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Operate cash registers, handle transactions accurately, and provide receipts to customers.
- Maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation protocols.
- Keep the café area clean and organized, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items meet quality standards.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service.
- Utilize TOAST POS system for order processing and inventory management.
Skills
- Serving skills are a plus
- Selling Skills are mandatory
- Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
- Previous experience in food handling or preparation is preferred but not required.
