What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant General Manager position at LA Fitness?
We are looking to employ a highly driven assistant general manager to drive production and assist in the day-to-day running of our facility. The AGM's responsibilities include developing strategies to improve sales, effectively handling customer concerns, and assisting with the recruitment of the sales staff. You should also be able to delegate tasks to the sales staff and hold employees accountable.
To be successful as an assistant general manager, you should demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and ensure that the sale staff comply with company policies and guidelines. Ultimately, a top-performing AGM should be able to achieve excellent customer service at all times.
-Continually meeting or exceeding sales quotes.
-Supervising and guiding the sales team as well as providing incentives to motivate staff to achieve sales targets.
-Monitoring the performance of the sales team.
-Managing leads and making phone calls to book appointments for tours.
-Ensuring that the facility is clean and well-maintained at all times.
-Building and maintaining good working relationships with customers.
-Identifying opportunities and strategies to increase sales.
-Regularly attending production meetings and training sessions.
-Performing all duties of the general manager in case of absence or emergency.
-Room for promotions and rapid growth within the company.
-Marketing to local residents, cross-promoting with local businesses, social media advertising, attending on-sites, booking vendors, and setting up corporate agreements.
-Helping clients achieve results safely and more efficiently by providing them with fitness knowledge through the sale of our education and accountability programs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
