What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kids Klub position at LA Fitness?
LA Fitness is seeking a responsible, energetic, and caring Kids Club Babysitter to provide a safe and fun environment for children while their parents or guardians enjoy our fitness facilities. As a Kids Club Babysitter, you will supervise children, engage them in age-appropriate activities, and ensure their safety and well-being during their time in the Kids Club.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and monitor children aged [3 months to 12 years old] in the Kids Club.
- Engage children in fun, educational, and age-appropriate activities.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and organized play area at all times.
- Maintain open communication with parents or guardians regarding their child’s time in the Kids Club.
- Follow all LA Fitness safety policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all children.
- Keep accurate attendance records and ensure children are checked in and out by authorized adults.
- Report any issues, concerns, or incidents to management promptly.
- Uphold LA Fitness’s values and deliver excellent customer service to both parents and children.
Qualifications:
- Previous childcare, babysitting, or daycare experience preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain patient, calm, and attentive in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift and carry small children when needed.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours with flexible scheduling, including morning, evenings and weekends.
- Indoor childcare setting within the LA Fitness facility.
- Physical requirements include standing, bending, and lifting up to 30 lbs.
