Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Membership Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for potential and existing members, providing exceptional customer service while promoting our membership offerings. Your ability to engage with customers, conduct product demonstrations, and upsell services will be essential in driving membership growth and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Duties
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase membership benefits.
- Engage with potential members to explain membership options and upsell additional services.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and transactions using a cash register.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with purchases and inquiries.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing member inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve overall member experience.
Qualifications
- skills are a plus, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
- Previous experience in customer service or retail environments is preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic math principles for accurate transaction processing.
- Ability to effectively demonstrate membership pricing and engage customers in conversation.
- Experience in upselling products or services is highly desirable.
- Supervisory experience is a plus but not mandatory.
- Experience in health and fitness.
- Being able to prescribe custom fitness programs to the customers and structure payment plans for the desired program length.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential traits for success in this role.
