Position Overview:
As a Manager in Training (MIT), you’ll step into a dynamic leadership role designed to prepare you for rapid growth into an Assistant General Manager position within our organization. Working closely with a Senior General Manager and District Vice President, you’ll gain hands-on experience in leading club operations, training staff, and driving financial success. Your leadership, performance, and adaptability will be reviewed regularly, with promotion opportunities available in as little as three months.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Plan and execute marketing and sales events with local businesses
- Continuously monitor and drive financial growth targets
- Prepare sales reports and analyze key performance indicators to optimize club success
- Support membership growth by generating leads and executing directives without hesitation
Team Management:
- Oversee the Membership teams across sales, marketing, and member experience
- Support recruitment and promote brand development
- Evaluate employee performance and implement improvement plans as needed
- Foster a positive work environment focused on exceptional customer service, cleanliness, and club pride
- Uphold high standards of time management, organization, and follow-up with staff and clients
Qualifications and Skills:
- 2 years of management experience, ideally in customer service or sales
- Proven leadership ability, preferably within fitness, education, or professional environments
- Experience in sales is required; advertising, hospitality, or marketing experience is a plus
- Strong professional presentation and relationship-building skills
- Exceptional training and motivational abilities
- Passionate about customer service, health, and wellness
- Positive, energetic, and solutions-oriented
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly pay plus commission and bonus opportunities
- Full-time, 50 hours per week, including evenings and weekends
