Position Overview: The Platform General Manager will be responsible for the strategic leadership and operational excellence of multiple dealership locations. This role requires a hands-on leader with a proven track record in the automotive industry, specifically as a General Manager in both Import and OEM franchise dealerships. The ideal candidate will drive performance, enhance customer satisfaction, and ensure the achievement of financial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple dealerships, ensuring consistency and excellence across all locations.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and customer experience.
- Lead and mentor Store Managers and dealership teams, fostering a culture of accountability and high performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Conduct regular assessments of dealership performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing action plans.
- Collaborate with senior management to set regional objectives and align resources to meet company targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEM partners, ensuring compliance with manufacturer standards and guidelines.
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices, leveraging insights to enhance dealership operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager in a Import and OEM franchise dealerships.
- Proven history of success in driving sales, improving operational efficiency, and achieving financial targets.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop high-performing teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
