Are you an experienced insurance verification professional with strong data entry and phone communication skills? We’re looking for a Verification Specialist to join our team and help ensure seamless pre-surgery insurance verification and patient registration. If you have a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to hit the ground running, we want to hear from you!
Location: Plano, TX
Pay: $18.00 to $20.00
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify insurance eligibility through electronic systems or direct phone communication.
- Accurately input patient demographics and insurance details into the system.
- Create and maintain at least 40 patient accounts/appointments daily.
- Communicate with patients, surgeons, and facilities to obtain missing information.
- Document clear and concise account notes regarding verification status.
- Utilize fax, printer, and scanner for documentation processing.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2-4 years of experience in insurance verification or patient registration.
- Knowledge of insurance plans (third-party and commercial) and financial classes.
- Proficiency in Epic.
- Strong phone communication and multi-tasking skills.
- Detail-oriented with a professional and reassuring phone demeanor.
- Previous out-of-network or patient payment communication experience is a plus.
