We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our fast-paced team in a critical accounting assistant role. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a progressive, digital-first office environment where the majority of work is done in the cloud using email, text, and online tools.

What You'll Be Doing:

As a key member of our accounting team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts payable for multiple companies. You will process daily expenses and charges from Excel into our accounting software - Speed and Accuracy required. Maintaining organized records in our cloud-based file cabinet. This role requires multitasking, attention to detail, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly accounts payable transactions promptly and efficiently
  • Experience entering accounting tasks using QuickBooks.
  • Respond to company text messages in a timely manner.
  • Keep all files, both digital and scanned, up-to-date and organized in our online system.

What We're Looking For:

  • Must Be Tech-Savvy: Comfortable working with multiple screens and a variety of cloud-based tools (email, text, and digital platforms).
  • Accounting Skills: Experience in QuickBooks or similar for fast, accounting entries.
  • Multi-Tasking Pro: Ability to efficiently manage multiple companies' accounts and financial tasks.
  • Excel/Google Sheets: Skills in Excel and Google Sheets for data tracking and inputting.
  • Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail and ability to manage financial transactions accurately.
  • Must be Dependable

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience and understanding of bookkeeping and accounts payable principles.
  • Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and QuickBooks (or similar software).
  • Excellent customer service skills and professional communication.
  • High degree of accuracy, with a strong focus on meeting deadlines in a fast-paced office.
