We are seeking a talented and passionate Head Chef to lead a team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry and meal preparation, menu planning, and kitchen management. As the Head Cook, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food quality and presentation while fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

About the Project

The project is a unique wellness initiative focused on promoting a chemical detox and supplementing with an Macrobiotics alkaline diet to support overall health and vitality. For 10 days within a 1-month period, participants will follow a carefully curated alkaline meal plan. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Head Cook to lead the kitchen team in delivering delicious, nourishing, and alkaline-focused meals.

Duties

• Lead the kitchen team in daily operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation.
• Oversee meal preparation processes, ensuring adherence to safety and sanitation standards.
• Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock while minimizing waste.
• Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health regulations and best practices.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, food preparation methods, and kitchen equipment usage (including knife skills).
• Experience in menu planning with an emphasis on dietary considerations is preferred.
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team development and collaboration.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for cooking and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes that exceed customer expectations.
