Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Clover POS system or similar technology.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance the dining experience.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and handling standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables after guests depart.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems such as OpenTable or other sales platforms.
- Assist in training new staff members on service standards and restaurant protocols as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
- Familiarity with Clover POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is essential.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed in alignment with restaurant hours.
