What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at La Plage Restaurant & Oyster Bar - Mystic?
SEEKING RESTAURANT HOST FOR NEW RESTAURANT OPENING by the Delamar Hotel Collection
Greenwich Hospitality Group, Connecticut's leading hospitality group operating boutique-style hotels and restaurants, is seeking experienced and charismatic Restaurant Hosts to join the FOH team at their newest waterfront restaurant & property – set to open in early 2025!
The host will report directly to the General and Assistant General Managers. He/she is responsible for:
- Coordinating, managing and confirming all reservations & walk-in guests
- Welcoming and seating guests in all dining & lounge spaces
- Providing exceptional guest assistance & service
- Maintaining flow of restaurant throughout service
- Assisting management team with various projects
Candidates should have 1 year experience in a high-volume dining setting. Evening and weekend availability is a must. Knowledge of OpenTable is a plus.
