Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures for all areas of the facility.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Address any guest concerns or complaints related to housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff performance evaluations and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping management or a similar role within the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques, floor care, and custodial practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to lead a team effectively while promoting a culture of teamwork and accountability.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Familiarity with hotel operations is preferred but not required.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
