What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at La Quinta Inns & Suites by Wyndham?
Responsible for the Guest Services
Answer incoming phone calls.
Reserve and confirm guest reservations for individuals and/or groups that are requested, process cancellations, revisions, and information updates on changes.
Make pre-arrival informational calls to booked incoming guests, confirm and cancel
Promptly greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
The complete guest registration process, and issue unit keys while ensuring the security of the guest's personal information
Provides hotel information and any area attractions details and directions.
Accurately process all cash and credit card transactions in accordance with established procedures.
Balance all cash drawers and perform a bucket check on shift, complete cashier report and other reports, prepare deposit and count/secure the assigned cash drawer.
Complete check-out procedures, verify that the correct charges and credits are posted to the corresponding guest folio, thank the guest and invite them to return again.
Maintain positive relationships:
Provides excellent service with an upbeat positive attitude and friendly smile, and responds appropriately to guest inquiries and concerns to ensure total guest satisfaction. Resolve guest issues in an effort to improve the guest experience. Promotes teamwork through daily communications and coordination with other departments.
